The Turkey 500 List published by Fortune Magazine, which ranks the 500 largest enterprises in Turkey, features Corendon Airlines for the seventh consecutive time . Corendon Airlines is ranked 271st, a climb of 13 places compared to the previous year and, in the ranking within the Province of Istanbul, even reached 152nd place.

Olcay Türler, Corendon Airlines’ Assistant CFO for Financial Affairs, said he was proud that Corendon Airlines had been included for the seventh consecutive year in the Turkey 500 List of Fortune Magazine and announced that this was achieved thanks to the net turnover of 828,525,000 Turkish Lira. According to Türker, the growth in turnover is due to the increase in last-minute bookings last year and particularly due to an increase in reservations in the second half of the year. With regard to the expectations for 2018, Türker said: “We had a good start in 2018. The first half-year results show that we will realize our 2018 budget goals. Contrary to the previous year, we are seeing a big growth in early reservations and we are more able to adjust to the increase than last year. We can now say that it is possible to reach the pre-crisis level thanks to the recovery of the European market. We therefore expect that the growth in demand will continue and that, at the same time, the revenue will increase and we will realize a new turnover record.

Since 2011 Corendon Airlines has featured, with a higher ranking each year, in the Turkey 500 List published by Capital Magazine based on its famous sector research.
