In the field of civil aviation in Turkey and Europe, Corendon Airlines has achieved many “firsts”. That is why it is known as the “Airline of Firsts”.

  • The very first flight of our brand on April 12th 2005 from Eindhoven to Sabiha Gökçen Airport in Istanbul was in fact the first time that a passenger aircraft had ever landed at Sabiha Gökçen Airport in Istanbul.
  • Corendon Airlines was the first airline company in Europe to receive the ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction Certificate. It also was the first airline in Turkey to obtain the Unhandicapped Airline Company Certificate from the Turkish Directorate for Civil Aviation for implementing conditions for handicapped persons to travel comfortably.
  • Corendon Airlines is the first airline in Turkey to use information cards in Braille for visually impaired persons and implement special procedures for hearing-impaired persons and persons with speech disorders.
  • On April 4th 2012, Corendon Airlines became the first airline to land with a passenger aircraft at the Alanya Gazipaşa Airport.
  • Of the 3000 airline companies in the world, Corendon Airlines is one of the 260 airlines to have obtained the IOSA In addition, Corendon Airlines’ safety policy was given the highest rating of 7 stars in the global comparative study on the world’s safest airlines performed by AirlineRatings.com.
