Corendon Airlines organizes extra flights to Gazipaşa airport!

Corendon Airlines, one of the airline companies transporting most tourists from Europe to Turkey, has announced that during the 2018 summer season the number of flights to Gazipaşa airport will increase.
Corendon Airlines, operating flights from Holland, Belgium, Germany and the Scandinavian countries to Alanya, has announced that during the 2018 summer season extra flights are planned from Cologne, Stuttgart and Hannover to Gazipaşa airport. Starting in May 2018 Corendon Airlines will fly each Wednesday and Friday from Cologne; and each Friday from Stuttgart and Hannover to Alanya-Gazipaşa.
Co-establisher and Corendon Airlines Chairman of the Board, Yıldıray Karaer, said in relation to the extra flights: “The location of the Gazipaşa airport is important for Alanya and for touroperators. Therefore on April 4th, 2012 we have made our first flight to the Gazipaşa airport and we became the first company to land a passengers-airplane on the Gazipaşa airport. On request of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, we decided to increase the number of flights to Gazipaşa in the 2018 tourism season. With these extra flights we hope to carry more German tourists to Alanya. However, just extra flights, organized by airline companies as we are, is not sufficient. We expect support from the local authorities and from the Gazipaşa-airport management, as well as support from travel agencies, hotelmanagements and social organizations to advertise and publicize this. These flights need to be announced in Alanya and also in Europe.” said Karaer.
