Corendon Tourism Group Continues Publicity For Turkey

Corendon Tourism Group, frequently drawing the attention due to investments it makes as a hotel chain, an airline company and tour operator, has taken an important step to increase the popularity of Turkey. The Group has hosted important representatives from the press, tourism and blogging world during a visit to Turkey.
 
One of Turkey’s leading tourism companies, the Corendon Tourism Group, growing continuously due to investments both in and outside Turkey, continues to work for the popularity of Turkey. The Group, who has organized events to increase the knowledge about Turkey in Europe already for many years and has produced two different flight safety films, now realized in cooperation with Corendon Dutch Touroperators another significant event. With a special organized flight Corendon carried important representatives from the press, tourism and blogging sector, together with some Dutch citizens who were elected by lottery to Turkey for a two day visit.
 
 
To show the attractions and interesting places in Turkey the Dutch tourists visited important touristical locations such as Cappadocia, Antalya and Aspendos. The Dutch tourists first visited Cappadocia to enjoy an unforgettable trip in an air balloon, then they visited Antalya to see the final show of the “Miss Holland” competition, selecting the finalists and enjoying performances of Dutch artists. Afterwards the trip continued to the Aspendos Antique Theater to see a concert of world famous Turkish artist Karsu Dönmez and Dutch performer Xander de Buisonje.
 
 
89% of Dutch tourists will return to visit Turkey again
In the course of the event Corendon Tourism Group announced the results of an research done by GfK, one of the most respected and important research companies in the world, active in more than 100 countries, regarding the experiences and opinions of Dutch tourists about travel to Turkey. According to an investigation amoung Dutch tourists visiting the Turkish coast in may 2017, tourists graded their satisfaction of their holiday in Turkey with 8,5 points. 96% of the tourists indicated that they felt quite safe in Turkey, while 89% of the tourists stated that they would visit Turkey again for another holiday. The Dutch tourists rated the hotels and the service given in the hotels with 8,4 points.
 
 
Karaer: “This success is the result of Turkey’s approach to tourism”
 
Yıldıray Karaer, co-founder of Corendon Tourism Group, carrier of 60% of Dutch tourists visiting Turkey, said: “For Turkey’s tourism the Dutch tourist is quite important. It is important for us that Dutch tourists are happy about the holiday they spend in Turkey. The outcome of a research made by the international GfK company shows very nice results that we want to share. According to these results, Dutch guests showed their satisfaction about their holiday in Turkey with a score of 8,5 points, while 89% indicated that they will return to Turkey for holidays. These averages reflect the result of Turkey’s approach to tourism and this should be considered as a success.” Karaer stated that there is a revival in bookings in the European market and that in June and July a serious increase in last minute bookings can be expected.
