Transportation in Fes
Local buses in Fes are mostly crowded but they run regularly and connect various parts of the city with each other. The most practical way of getting around in the old town is on foot. Almost all hotels provide you with maps of the old town because it is crowded and really difficult to navigate without some assistance. There are two types of taxis: Red taxis, operating within the city limits and grand taxis travelling between outlying areas and Fes with more passengers.
