A New Corendon Project For Candidate First Officers!


In co-operation with the aviation training schools ER-AH and Ayjet, Corendon Airlines will pay the costs of the Type Rating training for selected students of these schools after evaluating test results and an interview.
 
The Turkish Corendon Airlines, as one of Europe’s most popular airline companies, has taken a new initiative. In co-operation with the aviation training schools ER-AH and Ayjet, Corendon Airlines will pay the costs of the Type Rating training for selected students of these schools after evaluating test results and an interview. The selection from the 53 candidates who enrolled in this project has started in December. 8 Candidates have passed the selection successfully and on February 15th they have started with their Type Rating training. After completion of this training programme on March 31st. 2016 they will continue their line training at Corendon Airlines on scheduled flights to different destinations.
 
Sümer Kütük: “With this initiative we hope to attract Turkish first officers to our company and secure that they will fly for us for many years.”
Sümer Kütük, Training Manager of Corendon Airlines, stated the following in regard to this project: “With this project Corendon Airlines will finance the high costs of the type rating training for the graduated first officer candidates of the ER-AH and Ayjet training schools, to be followed by a training flight programme given by our own company instructors. Our aim is to bind Turkish first officers  for many years to our company.” 
 
Berna Oskay, Corendon Airlines HR Manager, stated that another objective of the project is to fulfil the need of the company for good educated personnel, that can be selected from the graduated candidates. Furthermore, the support to the finalization of the training should be considered as a contribution to the sector. “We hope to renew this project each year and we will try to involve more training schools in this project.” said Berna Oskay.
