The attractive holiday resorts of Bodrum and Çeşme on the Turkish Aegean invite you to enjoy an unforgettable holiday this summer. You can book your flights to Bodrum or Izmir at an especially great price now with Corendon Airlines.

Bodrum - cosmopolitan and extravagant

On the southwest coast of the Turkish Aegean lies the popular and thriving resort of Bodrum. Due to the luxurious and extravagant lifestyle of some visitors, it is also called the "St. Tropez of Turkey". Nevertheless, the resort attracts people from all walks of life, from budget-conscious backpackers to world-famous millionaires. The surroundings of Bodrum with many charming beaches, idyllic bays and hotels and accommodation of all price ranges also offers families with children the perfect opportunity to enjoy their holiday here.

Once you are in Bodrum, we recommend that you hire a car and explore the idyllic places and picturesque bays in the surrounding area. A boat tour along the coast would also be a unique experience. Right at the tip of the peninsula you will find the most important attraction of the city: Bodrum Castle from the 15th century. The ruins of the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the ancient wonders of the world dating back to 350 BC, can be admired in the Bodrum Museum.

Çeşme - individual and elegant

The westernmost peninsula of Turkey is called Çeşme. You are taken there via the destination airport of Izmir, a metropolis of 4 million people on the Aegean coast. You will find one of Turkey’s most beautiful sandy beaches in Çeşme. When in the sea, you can even feel the warm water on your feet, which comes out of thermal springs in the sea. With its white sand, this stretch of beach is reminiscent of Caribbean beaches. The exclusive beach clubs with their own sections of beach are also characteristic of the peninsula. In addition, the bay of Alaçatı is a world-famous and ever-windy surfing paradise.

In the old town of Alaçatı with its picturesque white and blue stone houses, you will find many first-class restaurants, elegant bars and cafés. The marketplace in the centre sells the organic products from the surrounding area in particular. Once a year, the city hosts a herb festival where you can taste many homemade local specialities among other things.

What you won't find so often in Çeşme are the "all inclusive resorts" that are common in the south of Turkey. This is because the individualists who spend their holidays here usually prefer the smaller family-run "boutique hotels". In Çeşme you will enjoy your holiday in a traditional "Aegean atmopshere".
