About Salzburg Airport (SZG)

Terminal 1 is the main one with 26 check-in counters, shops, restaurants, pharmacies, business lounge, and one visitors terrace. Since the airport does not have jet bridges, passengers board the plane by walking or using buses. On the other side, Terminal 2 is rather small and has four boarding gates including a designated area to check in skiing equipment. There are countless flights from Salzburg Airport to many destinations worldwide every year. The airport is especially popular during the winter season, serving as a key gateway for travelers heading to the Austrian Alps.
