We aim to make it as crystal clear as possible when you need more information on check-in. Here you will find the most frequently asked questions and their answers.
What does check-in mean?
Check-in is the process you must complete in order to make your way through security and board your flight. This can be done either at the airport or more conveniently on line. In order to complete the check in process you will need a valid booking reference and valid passport. Should you choose Online Check-in you will also need to utilise our bag drop desks.
Can someone else use my ticket to check in and travel?
You can only check in and travel if you are the named passenger on the ticket providing a valid passport which we will use to check ID. Our tickets are non-transferable.
When should I be at the boarding gate?
You must be at the boarding gate at least 25 minutes before the departure time. Your boarding gate will be announced via the departure information screens. Please keep in mind the amount of time it may take you to walk to the boarding gate depending on the airport you are departing from.
Can I check-in for my child as well?
Yes, you are able to check-in your child providing they are booked on the same PNR (booking code).
Online Check-In is not available for children between 6 and 12 years of age who are travelling alone as an unaccompanied minor.
As a tour operator passenger, I do not have a PNR how can I proceed
Passengers that have booked through a tour operator and who do not have a Corendon Airlines PNR can log into our system with the tour operator's reservation number.
At the airport
What time should I arrive at the airport to check in for my flight?
Corendon Airlines check in desks open two and a half hours before your scheduled departure time and closes 60 minutes before. All passengers must provide a valid passport at check-in on all flights.
How do I Check-In at the airport?
Once you arrive at the airport the departure monitors will let you know which desk you need to check in at. Once you reach the desk you will be required to present a valid passport.
If you have hold baggage this will be taken from you at the check in desk and weighed to ensure you are within your booked baggage allowance (please check your booking to confirm your allowance).
Once your passport has been checked and your baggage weight verified you will be issued a boarding pass.
Once you complete security please follow the information displayed on the airport departure screens. This is where your gate number will be displayed.
Please note you must have a boarding pass in order to pass through security and board your flight.
What time does the check in desk close?
Corendon Airlines check in desks close 60 minutes before your scheduled time of departure.
How do I complete Online Check-in?
You can complete Online Check-in via the Corendon Airlines homepage or by visiting our mobile app on your smartphone.
Who can Check-in Online?
Online Check-in service is available to all passengers with the exception of passengers requiring special assistance and children who are travelling alone as an unaccompanied minor between the ages of 6 and 12 years of age.
What are the advantages of checking in online?
Checking in online means you have the convenience of not queueing at the airport to check in. Bag drop is quick and efficient and if you have no luggage and you have either printed your boarding pass or downloaded it to your phone you are able to go directly through security to the departure lounge.
Do I need to have the print out of my e-ticket with me when I arrive at the airport?
You are not required to have a copy of your e-ticket printed however, it is advisable to have this saved in your smartphone or electronic device in case of any issues.
How can I cancel my online check-in?
You can cancel your online check-in by calling our call centre.
What should I do if I am late for the airport or want to cancel my flight after checking in online?
If you are late for your flight or wish to cancel after you have completed Online Check-in please contact our call centre.
Please note regardless of your ticket fare type flights are non-refundable 24 hrs before departure.
If I have checked in online what do I need to do when I arrive at the airport and how long before the flight do I need to arrive?
If you have checked in online and have not printed your boarding pass our Check-in staff will be happy to print this for you.
If you have luggage to go into the hold of the aircraft you will need to drop these at the bag drop desk open for your flight.
Our check in desks close 60 minutes before your scheduled departure time and all of your check in processes must be completed by this time. We recommend leaving sufficient time to ensure this is completed.
If I check in online what do I do with my luggage?
Bag drop desks are available at the airport.
If I don't have any baggage, can I go directly to the boarding gate?
Yes, if you have completed Online Check-in and have either printed your boarding pass or downloaded this to either your smartphone or electronic device and you have no hold luggage then you can pass through security and make your way to the departure lounge and boarding gate.
When can I Check-in Online?
Online check-in opens 7 days prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight until 5 hours before departure.

I cannot select my nationality at online check-in. What do I have to do?
We are not allowed to check you in online due to government regulations. If you are unable to check in online, there are no additional costs. We look forward to welcoming you at the check-in desk
