Corendon Airlines Decides To Continue Trainingproject For Assistant Pilot Candidates

Corendon Airlines will continue the “Type Rating” trainingproject for pilots who successfully completed their aviation school training.


One of Europe’s most popular airline companies, Corendon Airlines of Turkish origin, has decided to continue also this year a trainingproject that was started in 2015 for newly graduated pilots.


From newly graduated pilots Corendon Airlines will select candidates, who after successful completion of an evaluation period will be offered an agreement, by which the costs of the “Type Rating” training of the candidate will be financed by Corendon Airlines. In November and December an interview and assessment procedure will be held with the candidates who are selected to participate in this project. Candidates who successfully complete this evaluation will start the “Type Rating” training in January and begin with their scheduled flights in March.

Ahmet ÖZKAN, Corendon Airlines’ Director for Flight Training, made the following statement regarding the project: “For new pilot candidates, who have successfully completed their training at a Turkish aviation school, Corendon Airlines will finance the high costs of “Type Rating” training and their scheduled flight training will be completed by our own instructors. In this way we aim to keep Turkish assistant pilots committed to our company for many years.”
